Hi, First sorry if not allowed here ! My issue is: I just got a probook 4720s which was going to be put to the trash. The fact is it's password protected, the admin of course doesn't recall the password and HP no longer provide the SMC.bin file as i heard. I called them and they ask for a 280 euros bill to get it repaired. i For sure decline the offer. Is there a chance to get the password removed or definitely a dead end ? It's still a nice piece so... Thanks for your answer.
