hello hello mazzif .. first of all thanks for your great job regarding to PROBOOK 4520S .. is there any updates .. is there any workaround that can may help to unlock predefined Bios Password without the need of Bios chip replacement ! appreciating your efforts you are genius
HI mazzif! Thanks a lot you've done a great job its helpful. some of Elitebook 8530P had just Admin Password their boot sequence was not locked so in that case Option No 4 Elitebook 8530W is working on them and all passwords clear successfuly. i have Elitebook 8530P also which are protected even USB is not booting. i just remove RTC so that it boots from USB if HDD is not present. i have tried your utility option 4 Elitebook 8530W it says "The current BIOS does not support this feature". then I download the latest ver of BIOS extract files rom.bin efibios.sig to the new formatted USB flash drive with in the directory structure //Hewlett-Packard/BIOS/Current/ and rename as given in ver.txt as 68PDV. Then power ON with holding windows + B Caps lock flashing continue but nothing is happening. well i tried also "hp bios unlock" then import and Make All then in dos mode "shotgun" but password is still there.. I hope you will solve my problem. i appreciate your work. Thanks again
Dear Mazzif, Thanks so much for creating such an excellent tool! I have an Elitebook Folio 9470m that I am trying to clear the BIOS password on. Unfortunately, this is not one of your supported models. I tried running the SHOTGUN option, but it didn't seem to work. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Your friend, Dave

Hello, Apologies if this particular model has already been mentioned but I can't seem to find the search function... I have just tried (and failed) to use this tool on the Probook 6475b (got the laptop not supported message and BIOS PW remains). I was just wondering if there are any other options for me to try or if this support may be added in the future? I'm aware I could potentially reset the BIOS by removing the RTC battery or fiddling around with jumpers but want to avoid opening the laptop if possible. Any help is much appreciated and cheers for putting together a great tool ** A note to add that my boot order is locked and I've had to run the tool via the DOS tool > USB cable/sata drive method.
Hi, im trying to get remove the admin password on a HP2530p with Windows7 i was given by my uncle.I can access it it using the general admin access but cannot change anything without a password. I downloaded the files you made. I created the bootable USB stick using the USB image tool and patched HPBR-WIN32 to it. booted up laptop using usb and screen says " Missing Operating System " . so i then booted to windows and looked at usb drive and no files showing. I cannot see your files such as the HP-BIOS reset.exe as stated in your write up. What am i doing wrong. i have a good knowledge of computers obviously not to your standard. thank you Alex
