Hello Mazzif I can not log in the BIOS on Elitbook 8470p. The problem is i have blocked USB or CD boot. I tried your method , but the result is not received. Please, help me.... Thanks in advance.
8570p Hello from Germany, I bought a used 8570p (former leasing notebook) it looks like new and it works. I can boot from a USB Stick, DVD and hard disk. But I cannot get into the bios or update (it is F40 installed) the bios cause it is password protected. Is it possible to reset or remove the bios password on the 8570p. I am a newbee, is there a manual for the Bios Reset Utility? Can I damage the 8570p with the reset tool, if it does not work? Thanks in advance crash64
I have also got a request to reset my BIOS password on a HP 6735s laptop. Currently its running a F.06 version of the BIOS so I hope to also update it to the latest one. My details for the board are below so if someone can help cause HP are useless atm. Serial: CNU8465HJ8 UUID: 88A350156005DE11B86319A1BF0CB009

Hello, Could I ask for some details please? I followed all the steps as follows: 1) Fat 32 USB flash format, 2) extraction and renaming efibios.sig and rom.bin from particular ver.txt, copying it to the tree as sugested above, 3)What is next step please? I restarted my HP6735, obviously nothing happens because the usb flash is not bootable which was not required according to the tutorial. What is the next step , please?? I spent many hours to find pwd removal and then when I found it I cant make the bios update which is prerequisite to the bios pwd removal. Give me a hand please.
Google imgBurn. It's very straightforward. Just make a bootable USB with rufus instead of wasting CDs/DVDs
Good day Mazzif, I'm having the same problem as below: I have an HP Compaq 6735s, and used the tool as you instructed. On first boot it extracted and saved the UUID and other details. I then boot into windows and used "HP BIOS Unlocker" to generate a key. I also used the make "ALL KEYS" option. On reboot, I have tried the "First Run" option, "Shotgun" option and "output/all" option, but they all end in "Notebook is not supported (30E4)" and doesn't clear the password. Any help would be greatly appreciated, please see details below: UUID = 0x1B66AEBEF317DE11942826D25F06C0D5 Current Serial Number = CNU913144K Current Asset Tag = CNU913144K Current Model Name = HP Compaq 6735s Current SKU Number = KS176UT#ABA

Mmh is not working on a HP Probook 6560B. It says : This utility will not programm for this SN Maybe another solution?
Well, didnt think it was possible to do this BUT worked like a charm on a Elitebook 6930P without issues, one thing i have noticed tho, after updating bios and then going through the reprogramming of laptop i accidentally forgot a letter in the SN and still worked so had to "after success tho" is go back and re-programme bios to show correct serial. The HP and DELL business class laptops have been a nemesis to me and i know many more so for this lad to come up with this tool, all's i can say to Mazzif for doing his good work is Thank You. Please note that it took me half an hour to figure out the step by step use of tool but once figured out piece of pi$$. To those who are struggling i would suggest that YOU UPDATE BIOS FIRST. 6930P needed bios update to work properly and as you can imagine i pooped when i thought no luck lol but flashed bios using the provided tut on page 1. And tips to those who need it i will try help you out. Im not new to MDL but never made an account till now as i feel this is worth it MASSIVE THANKS MAZZIF *YOU THE MAN*
