Hi Mazzif! Yesterday, I tried to test you application on a Hp compaq 6735b but the message that gave me was that my bios did not support that action. Notebook Model: HP Compaq 6735b Product number: KU439ET#ABE UUID:BBC746F904D6DD11807300A1BF0CE06C S/N: CNU8401P7W BIOS VERSION: 68GTT Ver. F.07 Any suggestions or the only solution is to change the BIOS chip?? Happy new year and thank you so much!!
Ill leave them both tito thank you. Although I have no plans to further development of the windows based solution, it still has a place and serves a purpose. Let us then merge the threads?
Your BIOS is old, and needs to be of a newer version for my tools to support it. But herein lies the problem, how can you update if you need a password? There are rumors of a method to force an update, but that is outside the scope of my tools. Look through the comments
Working with EliteBook 8540w I selected the probook 8540w profile the UUID and SN had to be entered manually and after reset I had the error: System Board OOA Product Information Not Valid solved it with the HPDU.rar found on internet running NBDMIFIT.BAT entered the SN and PN found on the label of the back of the laptop Thanks !
Press the 4 arrow keys (up, down, right, left) on the keyboard and power ON. with files in USB FLOPPY DISK NOT USB FLASH (if its newer model USB Flash stick might work)
Good morning and good news! This morning I updated the bios version F07 to F16 on my compaq 6735b and thus could remove the password that I had. First I removed the DVD- ROM , HDD, and laptop battery. Then I used a 4GB USB flash drive and followed the following steps : 1) Format the flash drive as FAT32 and set the label "HP_TOOLS". 2) Create a directory tree "Hewlett -Packard\ BIOS\Current\" 3) Unpack the SoftPaq , then extract the "Rom.cab". 4) Move the files "Rom.bin" and "efibios.sig" to the "Hewlett-Packard\BIOS\Current\". 5 ) Rename "Rom.bin" to "68GTT.BIN" and "efibios.sig" to "68GTT.SIG". 6) Run the BIOS RECOVERY and wait 2-5 minutes . The laptop will turn off . Finally , I used your application and it worked correctly. I think the error I was making was or my lack of patience or the file that used to recover the bios was "ROM.sig" or both. Thank you very much for everything, and I can confirm that the application works for HP compaq 6735b ( Probook 6735b ) . Regards
I have good news! I rehearsed your little program again today, but I did not select the 11 button(2740P) now but I tried all of the opportunities in a row. I pressed the 8 button(Probook 6455B) next and something happened...:BIOS PASSWORD UNLOCKED. So my EliteBook 2740P unlocked password with Probook 6455B crack..... U are so AWESOME! You are correct these steps do nothing to remove the password. It is to update the BIOS so that we can have a better chance to remove it using my tools. Glad for your success and thanks for sharing feedback. That is what is important to this community.
Hi Mazzif, Will you support the probook 4530s / 4730S (bios 68CCU)? If you need help i have a bios file with password, and one without (from the same laptop).
