Hi, is there any chance how to remove Bios password on HP EliteBook 840? I didn't find model in program so I tried shotgun method. But it didn't work. Can you help me please ? Thanks zorro-ms

Hi, Posted here a few days ago, but no answer so far. So as i said before bought a HP 6730B, BIOS locked, Boot order locked to HDD. I applied the OP patch as my notebook was supported evering went smooth, haven't applied BIOS update in first place. Now at start up, black screen no blinking leds. Haven't tried yet connection to external display. Any idea of what to do ? Thanks.
Hi All, fantastic thread. Like many of you i have an HP Elitebook with an unknown BIOS pw. the model is 8460p. I dont see that exact model on the list of compatible models - i will try the shotgun approach and post my results here.
Sharing my experience. first thank to this tool owner and this forum. I am a technician for laptops and i unlocked many HP 6930p using this method. But the last one i was doing Force BIOS update to follow that procedure was bricked and laptop was only showing charging led blinking blue and white. I tried many times to force update but failed as laptop was not powering up.. So the final solution was to replace BIOS chip and that worked for me

Hey, tried the utility on a HP8460P, reads system info correctly but terminates with error code 89, bios password NOT cleared. tried shotgun as well, no success. Any hope?

Hello, I can not reset my BIOS password of my HP 6450b ProBook because I forget it. No tool helped me because I cant boot from CD/DVD or USB-Drive. Only from Hard-Disk. Did someone have a solution.
