aren't the steps the same for every model?

boot from USB tool
it collects data (which I backup for later reference when reprogramming)
boot to windows
use the USB tool to make the exe in the DOS folder
boot from USB tool and either use the exe with your model name or type shotgun and it will blank the device

then boot the USB and reprogram the device with it's serial info and other data.

that's what I did to fix my 2760p

I can see all the steps but no post or link for the image file.

I have a HP 4530, I need to update my bios due to It causing power issues, but forgot the password.. Does anyone have the download link for this tool? Sorry, cannot find It, and the one on the front page is down.

 

anyone succeded in reseting the bios of a probook 4710s? there's options for 4310/4510, but even with the "all" option it doesnt work

Hello Mazzif sorry I'm not very fluent in pcs, I just got a 8440p as a hand me down, it has a password on setup, can you help me with the link to your tools so I can remove the password. Sorry to all but I am new and cannot IM Mazzif and not bother everyone who has been here for awhile.

Has anyone been able to successfully unlock an HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G2?

I tried the booting into the unlock tool and running the 'shotgun' option but it says "Laptop model is not supported" (I think that's what it says, it was only on the screen for a split second) and then the laptop reboots.

BIOS version: L86 v. 01.00 12/08/2013
