Hi Mazzif THanks for the great work : ) I'm running the tool on PRobook 4545s and once I reboot and vi HPBR option 3 hit S to reprogram it shows "Your notebook is not supported by this utility You should check CSN to find correct utility for this platform" What can be done here?? Thanks Hussein
Try NBDMIFIT package with WNDMIFIT util. This is windows based so for me, I make a Windows 10 PE bootable USB to run this util.
Well first thank you very much for your fast response Ok and once done should this only clear the bios password or is it going to correct/clear the error and after that then I should use your tool ?
Good day Mazzif, thank you for all your time and support on this. I have used your HPBR on a 6460b notebook no problem, but it wont work on a 6470b, even though they look exacty like each other but wont work any update or workaround, Regards
Hi Mazzif Hope you are well ! One quick question: Would this work on a 8760w BIOS REV: 68SAD Ver. F.50 | BIOS Date: 08/05/2014 Thank you ever so much!
Sorry man, HP patched against these tools with their new release. They also made it so we can t force a roll back like we used to.
Hi there, First, thank you Mazzif for your time spent in programming a tool for the community But unfortunately, it didn't work for my HP Probook 6570b My model is not in the list, so I tried "shotgun", but unsuccessfully. The only version I was able to find is 2.5.33, I don't know if there is a newer one ? If not, is their a way to erase password in HP 6570b ? Thank you
**70 Series or any other Series with a G (455 G1, 1040 G2 Etc) is not going to work with my software solution. Ever. Reflashing using PI or other programmer will. Lots of discussion on that here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/hp-elitebook-70-series-bios-password-reset-util-test.56701/
Yeah, download is down. I want to give it a go with my 8460p. A re-up would be appreciated. And thanks already for all the work you put in there @Mazzif !

Hi there! Strange problem here Mazzif, I did all steps as required (DOS method), and everything seems to be just fine, after 1 run i got message "all clear", a fter second run "**DONE**" so i was hoping I'm good to go with my 8440p, but no, BIOS administrator password* stays untouched. Have came across such situation? I've read all this thread and havent found any similiar problem. Please, help *By BIOS administrator password i mean... BIOS administrator password. I am able to go into BIOS, change boot sequance and other features, but cant change anything in "security" card. E Nevermind that post, my mistake, I'm good now
