Guys, leave Mazzif alone, he can no longer help you. If you have a laptop with BIOS password which is under warranty, do the following: 1) Contact HP Support, tell them the device powers on, but wont show anything on screen. 2) Follow the troubleshooting steps, but tell them your still not seeing anything. (Unless their the USB they get you to make work) 3) Once they agree to send a technician. Flash the motherboard and pull the power half way through. HP will cover faulty motherboards under warranty and replace the motherboard free of charge, but a forgotten BIOS password will need to be replaced at a charge. I too work at an IT recycler and our first point is to reduce the amount of equipment that gets destroyed for no good reason.
