    You can reprogram right on the motherboard. No need to desolder. My other thread discusses this in detail.

    Has anybody an idea to remove the bios-password?

    Hi.
    Have a probook 6550b with f.60 ver. of bios
    HP Probook Elitebook BIOS Password Reset Utility don't work with it (error 0x89). Is there any other way to reset password?

    I purchased an used hp 840 g3 laptop, and as usual the bios is locked by a password. i tried contacting hp and they stated that they dont provide smc.bin files anymore. how do i remove the password without tampering any chips on my m/b. thanks,

    Hola.
    Buen dia.
    Quisiera solicitar su ayuda para ingresar al setup de la bios de mi HP Elitebook 2540p.
    No tengo la clave de administrador del Bios.
    He intentado con varias herramientas: USB booteada con la herramienta "HPBR".pero he fracasado.
    Al insertar la USB el boot loader no la reconoce.
    El Equipo tiene instalado Windows 10 x64

    Agradezco si me puede ayudar.
