HP restore disks for XP?

    HP restore disks for XP?

    does it exist?

    It does, what version for?

    But easier to read the stickies & make your own one from Retail version (so you also know there is no c**p on it)

    You can order restore disks from HP for a price but you will not have the most recent drivers and crapware will be crammed down your throat. You can download XP with SP3 and convert to OEM using info here. If you have a valid Microsoft COA sticker the key can be used to activate. Otherwise you will need to run OEMBIOS.EXE to grab your BIOS info to know which OEMBIOS files to add to XP in order to make a self activating OS.
