Hello I'm very newbie about these OEM Slic thingi :S I need a lots of help here. I'm currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit on my Sony Vaio AW. How come I be able to setup the OEM branding? Is there any other thread that will guide me step by step?
Sounds good! Then we can finally take a peek at the OEM setup structure. (Which will probably not be quite identical to that of Vista disks. Just a hunch.) Thanks for sharing all that stuff, +1 rep, and keep the goods coming!
There are no themes in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes for any of the OEM computers. I am copying the HP folders.
How can i include these files to a windows 7 DVD? i tried to copy the contents (i used the HP one) inside a D:\sources\$OEM$ but after installation i got nothing....
Please Upload the OEM tool.. Dude.. can you upload the tool you're using to backup all oem info.. including slps.. waiting your upload.. Sincerely..
There is no code I can integrate for dumping, and there is no automated SLP/CERT/BIN dumper. I had the code to get Vista keys, I will search for that. The rest is going to have to be left that out of the rewrite :\
Okay here is version 1, good luck everyone. If I missed something, please tell me. And you need to use SLIC_DUMP to get the Key/CERT/Bin (if there are arguments I can use for SLIC_DUMP please tell me). I included the source code. If anyone has any suggestions or expansions, please post them so I can include them. So far I have not found any themes, but it still copies them.
I got error by using ur tool,, here is the error Microsoft (R) Visual C# 2008 Compiler version 3.5.30729.4926 for Microsoft (R) .NET Framework version 3.5 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
Awesome, thanks for OEM rip. Is there a how to/tutorial that I missed in previous pages? Thanks again. Can't wait to test drive Win7
Here is a newer version of RIPOEM, this includes the LogonUI registry branch. How To: Put the program into the folder you want to rip everything to. Open the program, and press 'enter' to exit when finished. Then use a SLIC dumper to extract the CERT/BIN.
