Hey, I know this may seem stupid but how do you activate with a MAK key? I know OEM is different so that is why I am asking.

Don't feel ashamed from asking.. We'll indeed have the pleasure to explain..

Dude MAK technology is a simple straight forward one... Just enter the key into the system as if it were a retail.. The system will activate online.. Once activated, it'll remain so for a lifetime.. Unless your PC Hardware gets modified drastically..

One way of entering the key is right click My Computer>Properties>Activation>Activate Now

Enter Key.. Wait for 5 mins.. you're done!;)

    Better Hurry

As you like, both versions are supported by the key as you know.. However, I'd like to give an advice if you don't mind..

A word to the wise, don't take things for granted.. the clock is ticking.. MAK keys are very exposed to blacklisting.. In fact, the technology was created to counter volume keys leakage.. It's an expertise at executing such commands.. Better hurry up.. The Activation count might be relieving.. but who knows when will M$ block this key, and hand the company a replacement..

Not to mention the key might be taken down at any moment..;)

    Again.. Probability..

That's my opinion.. do what you find is best..
