Ever since i updated to Win 10 some of the sites don't open and comes up with below message. The surprising part is at times the websites open , I can ping the website without issues also can run a tracert Code: tracert extratorrent.cc Tracing route to extratorrent.cc [104.18.46.112] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms OpenWrt.lan [192.168.1.1] 2 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 43.XXX.XXX.XXX 3 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 10.200.200.1 4 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 100.100.100.2 5 1 ms 3 ms 1 ms static-217.ctrls.in [103.26.98.217] 6 32 ms 29 ms 29 ms 122.15.222.118 7 29 ms 29 ms 29 ms 182.19.106.202 8 30 ms 29 ms 29 ms 103.29.44.3 9 * 30 ms 29 ms 103.29.44.0 10 63 ms 62 ms 62 ms 182.19.115.225 11 63 ms 66 ms 63 ms te13.1.br01.sin01.pccwbtn.net [63.218.163.169] 12 101 ms * 102 ms trans-world.fe3-35.br01.sin02.pccwbtn.net [63.218.165.66] 13 98 ms 98 ms 98 ms te0-2-0-0.wr1.sin0.asianetcom.net [61.14.157.129] 14 98 ms 95 ms 98 ms te0-1-2-0.wr1.hkg0.asianetcom.net [61.14.157.73] 15 99 ms 117 ms 99 ms xe-0-0-0.0.gw2.hkg9.asianetcom.net [61.14.158.67] 16 96 ms 96 ms 96 ms CDF-0002.gw1.hkg4.asianetcom.net [202.147.17.182] 17 93 ms 93 ms 94 ms 104.18.46.112
extratorrent.cc [104.18.47.112] reboot modem.. remove net adapter and redetect in device manager. try pingplotter
I think it is a problem with your ISP. You can try pathping whenever you have connectivity because it is more reliable than tracert.
The IP 104.18.46.112 is part of the TRUE Network from Thailand (asianet.co.th is owed by TRUE Bangkok). TRUE is blocking a few .cc chinese websites also. And last but not least: that Website is controlled via Cloudflare/SG, which also could result in some problems.
If problem is with my ISP i can open those websites on other devices on same network so mobile , tablet via wifi all work and open the sites all the time. I did this on a linux device same network Code: root@c1:~# traceroute extratorrent.cc traceroute to extratorrent.cc (104.18.47.112), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets 1 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 0.249 ms 0.280 ms 0.329 ms 2 XXXXXX (XXXXX) 1.423 ms 1.428 ms 1.424 ms 3 * * * 4 100.100.100.2 (100.100.100.2) 1.937 ms 2.046 ms 2.180 ms 5 10.139.103.1 (10.139.103.1) 2.908 ms 2.909 ms 2.934 ms 6 static-217.ctrls.in (103.26.98.217) 32.779 ms 31.187 ms 31.178 ms 7 122.15.222.118 (122.15.222.118) 5.956 ms 6.636 ms 6.593 ms 8 182.19.106.202 (182.19.106.202) 6.683 ms * 6.587 ms 9 103.29.44.3 (103.29.44.3) 4.743 ms 4.549 ms 4.086 ms 10 103.29.44.0 (103.29.44.0) 4.351 ms 4.898 ms 4.479 ms 11 * * * 12 te13.1.br01.sin01.pccwbtn.net (63.218.163.169) 71.089 ms 71.173 ms 70.988 ms 13 trans-world.fe3-35.br01.sin02.pccwbtn.net (63.218.165.66) 70.895 ms 71.316 ms 70.891 ms 14 CDF-0021.asianetcom.net (61.14.145.34) 69.744 ms 69.684 ms 69.575 ms 15 104.18.47.112 (104.18.47.112) 70.125 ms 69.963 ms 69.852 ms On Windows using pathping Code: C:\Users\>pathping extratorrent.cc Tracing route to extratorrent.cc [104.18.46.112] over a maximum of 30 hops: 0 XXX.lan [192.168.1.134] 1 XXXX.lan [192.168.1.1] 2 XXXXXXXXX 3 * * 10.200.200.1 4 100.100.100.2 5 static-217.ctrls.in [103.26.98.217] 6 122.15.222.118 7 182.19.106.202 8 103.29.44.3 9 103.29.44.0 10 * * * Computing statistics for 225 seconds... I think its some windows issue ? IIS ?
I think yes the ISP is blocking it as i tried VPN and it was able to open the site correctly. How come its blocking on PC but not on other devices ? I tried changing user agent to android but still didnt worked could it be mapped to MAC Address ?
I doubt it. Are you using the same ISP for all your devices ? Since this problem appears to be exclusive to windows 10 you may also want to check your hosts file and firewall.
Didn't India recently block a whole bunch of pirate/warez/torrent/p2p sites? It could be it. ISP can hijack DNS queries of popular DNS providers to redirect them elsewhere. Try with some less known public DNS providers, or better, with a VPN. That, or the cloudflare server in your area/country where the backup site is being hosted has issues.
Are you using VPN on your other devices ? If NOT, perhaps a search for extratorrents IP address in your registry may not be a bad idea. ( both hex and decimal )
There seems to be no problem with packet loss. Try to clear the cookies and cache of your browsers first and scan your system for malware.
I just confirmed from my ISP that the website is blocked , however I'm puzzled how I'm i able to open the websites on my tablet on same ISP connection
i got a work arround... install gdrive in both. dload the torrent magnetlink in tablet, add to gdrive and open it in the pc. done
