And I'm getting angry every time a software website says "For reading the manual or changelog, join our Discord" or "Get this 100% free tool by joining our Discord". If I have to sign up for a platform to get a "free" tool or to check out "public" changelogs, they are neither free nor public. Discord is painfully overrated.
i had to check. wasnt sure if i had discord. i dont, nor will i. i think facebook is the only social nonsense i have. id get rid of it but i think some folks only contact me using that unLIKEable site.
Well, it is indeed... I heard that some people are moving away from Discord to open source Discord-like clones or something.
I tried that, but cool niche things still insist on using it. I keep an account and only use the browser app, and 2FA makes sign-in inconvenient enough to not want to check casually
I am so much more productive and interested in things I care about ever since I nuked my YouTube account.
