ok guys now also a boot windows appeared "american megatrends cmos clock time not set f1 to setup " what the ###???? i dont know it never happend before time all changing
you have been given a lot of help for your issue and neither soft-based hint got your box working again > hardware. Go and get a new board during warranty
You still haven't answered the most important question. I'm sure you computer isn't brand new coming with Windows 8.1. It's not even released yet. So what happened when you used other operating systems? Did the clock work?
Nah, this is no soft issue. Since a "few" days, I had so many boxes in my hands out of almost all time periods available just to get 8.1 running. Most of the recent boards take it easy back to to "ancient" cpus. P4 refused but this is not the point. Guess that lil' devil's box is quite new because of the warranty hint. NoNo this is a hardware thing > my two cents
I got to ask do you have core temp installed on your system? there is a know problem with windows 8 and core temp causing the time not to work or update correctly I had this issue when i first moved to win8 removed core temp and no problem
Wow! Still going on? just go into BIOS and note the time, after a while do the same, if time didn't change, then there is nothing to do with software, get your mobo fixed.
Flash a new bios. If that doesn't work then its a bios problem like FaiKee says. Go get a new mobo...
Maybe or maybe not, any thing could cause it, faulty battery contact/wiring, faulty CMOS or wiring..... or you can simply set windows to syn with internet time, so on startup on-line it will display the correct time.
I just scanned through the whole thread and did not see anywhere that the OP says they reinstalled Windows yet ?
