The Dell cert I downloaded which worked was called Dell.xrm-ms and was the same as the Vista one - is the one he used simply renamed or different ? Can't comment anymore - not using loader or BIOS mod anymore.
Why you have a Dell_2.1.xrm-ms??? My understanding is that it should be a Dell 2.0 cert!!! Simply use DAZ's loader or OPA's Tool to replace it and see the result.
If you can't find the matching Certificate (presumably from a Dell Win 7 ISO) then mod the Bios with a Dell SLIC.Bin that matches the certificate you already have.
I downloaded the modded BIOS (Dell Vostro 1400 Phoenix BIOS Ver A09) from this site, and installed it with the fresh installation of Win 7. But the amazing thing is, I got no problem with the validation WGA from Microsoft site. Do I have to flash my BIOS back to the previous stage, and re-mod my BIOS again?
Try this advice - I think it's right. The certs I've seen do not say which SLIC version they are - Download Daz's loader and use it to replace the cert.
No I wouldn't think so. But the BIOS you show above has DELL_B9K SLIC and most modders here use DELL_QA09 SLIC. So I would suggest you ask the person that made the mod for advice. It's possible that you already had SLIC 2.1 in BIOS and the mod didn't actually overwrite that SLIC when you flashed it.
