I need to run a VM at a specific year and time

    I am using Oracle VM VitualBox version 5.0.0
    I need to run a VM at a specific year and time
    for example I need the VM to think it is 12-09-2004 every time I start it.
    Any Ideas?

    Can't you set it in the VM bio?

    Depending on OS of the VM, set it up, so it NEVER checks with timeserver and VB Additions timesync is also not active

    But that will work only for the first power on, from then on it will count time, so you would need to reset time every boot
