That -still- works fine, despite the rantings of the Windows 10 fanbois. Upgrade! Upgrade! Upgrade! (Screamed to the cadence of Tora! Tora! Tora! ) "If it Ain't broke, then don't fix it"
What is now the argument? I don't mean to say your view is wrong in my post. I am only pointing out the need to take part in the free upgrade and the possible consequence of using previous Windows operating systems that are gradually being faced out.
Well, the Windows 7 Start Menu was a real mess. It was broken from day 1. There really had been no change since Windows 95. The NEW Windows 10 Start Menu is not only a work of art, but fabulous engineering, and programming!
There is no spyware in Windows 10. Period. End of Story. It is all a fabrication of conspiracy theorists. They are like trolls. Do not feed them.
The W10 excuse for a start menu is hideous, and probably the first thing everyone should replace with one of the superior alternatives! Clearly you're doing this in an attempt to wind ppl up - fail!
They been doing it for a long time ! now they come out and say they do and people start moaning about it lolz wake up and smell the truth
Is your day job selling Sand to Arabs or Ice to Eskimos ? OH WAIT, I got it, you are a used car salesman.
I thought MS eventually admitted the auto telemetry and data logging cannot be turned off even using the built in option. There is an article on forbes about this admission. Also grc research along with some other network tech company has done some lower level logging on clean win10 installs with the telemetry options turned off and it was still pushing a great deal of telemetry data to MS and it partner IP addresses over 24 hours.
