Maybe it will be released approx. the same time as the security updates, anyway i have updated my first post.
Tried to install IE10 on my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and it fails. Says "Internet Explorer did not finish installing". It gives me a link for an internet explorer troubleshooter which just leads me to a general information page. No codes or anything. Anyone else having this problem?
Its really sad it takes 10 Major versions of internet explorer to get this "major" feature when the competition (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and many more!!) have had this feature since many of their beginnings..
Personally I switched back to I.E. when Firefox had issues w/ Vista. I am "semi" looking forward to I.E. 10 on 7, but after using it on 8 (which I have on my 2760p elitebook tablet) I'm not completely sure of having it on 7.
Very disappointing. I thought I'd see IE 10 final, not some pre-release.. Oh well, is a MS product so I'll wait until the RTM comes out. Never the less, I mainly use FF.
I think Microsoft is purposely delaying this release because they want Windows 8 to have the spotlight for a few months first. This could have easily been released at the same time Windows 8 was launched.
I highly doubt this. They always have pre-release versions of IE for older versions of Windows before they spit out a final.
