From post #1: Does it mean I can integrate this cab-file (+ LP, hyphen and spelling for my language and, of course, the prerequisite) and no updates? Regards, Thiersee
Yes, you can integrate or install IE11 this way as long as you've installed or integrated the prerequisite updates before integrating IE11.0.15 cab.
Hi Steve, Per your update on IE11 on Windows 7 (10 Feb 2015), there is no mention of the integrable IE11.x cab. So is the old IE11.0.15 cab still valid for this latest update ? Thanks
You can download the .exe from the link and run a command :"IE11-Windows6.1-x64-en-us.exe /x:c:\ie11cab".Then go to driver C ,folder ie11cab, and inside pick up the IE-Win7.cab.
Sadly, MS has abandoned IE11 cabs (IE10 and 9 also are no longer being supplied with updated cab and msu files), so you will need to include latest MSUs for this month (Feb) which you'll find in the first post. Yes the last cab is still valid, but I removed the link, cause I don't know if MS will remove that as well.
Thanks for the tip, Mariog. However, the executable version (derived cab) is dated 15 Oct 2013. Nevertheless, so long as the recent patches are cumulative, should be fine.
Is IE11-Windows6.1-KB3058515 (09 Jun 15) - MS15-056: Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer: June 9, 2015 the latest cumulative update for IE11 ?
July 2015 MS15-065: Security update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7: Windows6.1-KB3065822 - Windows6.1-KB3074886 - Windows6.1-KB3075516
my wu (on Win7) (not on Win10) has automatically installed this update, you can also download it from the Microsoft website...
