Another one from Ziggy: Religion is comparable to a childhood neurosis … mankind will surmount this neurotic phase, just as so many children grow out of their similar neurosis.
I wonder why do you love Freud so much...he was a lost soul in the web of the mind. That man expressed his fears and others took it as knowledge...
You still haven’t gotten to the point of this discussion. I managed to read part of the post you made here and almost fell asleep. I have little patience with posters who devote multiple pages telling me/us how mystic their idea/s is/are. Don’t tell me how smart you are, tell me your idea/s about this topic (''Free will doesn't exist if God is omniscient''), just clarify your position...don't beat around the bush as you've shown in almost each thread you subscribe in this section Mr. Socrate of 2012.
One would assume that failing prayers would actually do so. But then it's just "God's mysterious ways". You can't win with lunatics. Reasonable people are fully aware of the fact of life called death. They don't flee into a fantasy to hide an uncomfortable truth. They live good lives because they know they only have this one life, not because they fear hell. I don't think a terminal illness would change opinions on either side.
Don't read just a part, read it all... Well, there's your "problem"...you have little patience. Have more. Here's in a nutshell: can a 4D brain understand an nD (where n = infinity) being or force? gorski & TCM are beating around the bush when it comes to answering this question. If you can, then...tell us how you did it. Enlighten us...maybe I, gorski & TCM might learn something new.
I answered the question like you never could and possibly never will understand... not even close... But hey, keep your spirits up...
Actually the burden of proof is on you as you are claiming 'you have understood' or it is impossible for us to understand an infinity being to exist. Thus you can either defend this claim, or you are as always a pseudo-mystic. Would you like to entertain us with your pseudo-mystical thought?
The best evidence for a supreme being would be references to biblical views or any other written books about any supreme being, you do not believe those views to be accurate (aka fairy tales) so you are asking something that is not possible within your own mind set. I suppose your doing this to prove your ego is correct so you can believe in your disbelief
