...by all the various versions of Windows 7 that are available for download. So, my question is, which of all the versions linked to from this forum is the latest version of Windows 7 Ultimate? In other words, the version which includes SP1 and hot fixes right up through November 2012. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
Oh. Sorry. I'm definitely not trying to violate any of the forum rules. So there is no "official" download for Win 7 with SP1 integrated? That's odd. I was sure I had seen direct downloads from M$DN or from Digital River which included SP1. In fact, just out of curiousity, what is this? Windows 7 Ultimate with SP1 x86_U_ English - MSDN (untouched) Is that just some kind of update disc that contains only SP1 and not a full install of Win 7? Thanks for bearing with my ignorance and so patiently answering my questions.
Ok. Now we're getting closer to answering my my question - which is really a simple yes or no answer. Does that version you linked to contain a full installation of Win 7 including SP1?
What do you mean by "full"? Per your original post, you wanted a version that includes all hot fixes through November, 2012; SP1 doesn't supply that. SP1 was released February, 2011. All hot fixes, updates and such since the release of SP1 are not included in the full version supplied by a link on this forum. If you want a "full" version that's slipstreamed with updates after the release of SP1, you're going to have to make it yourself or download it from a site other than this forum as steven4554 stated.
