You welcome In fact I quoted you but it was more to let it know to Pablo ( and others...) btw I've read none of these tools works good with win8 (specially 64 recovery). I'm getting confused.
Yes, there are a few obstacles when building a combined 32bit+64bit ISO. 1. You need both a 32bit and a 64bit SETUP.EXE for upgrading. To upgrade a 64bit Windows you must use the 64bit setup. 2. The x64 RE. Both need a bit of hex editing and will possibly break signatures, sadly.
Saved in my pocket, will read later (got to get some sleep first). Will probably improve my Win7SP1 DVD. Hope there will be something like that for 8.x ...

Untouched SP1 for Win7 IT Any chance you can upload this release 'untouched', please? Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 (x64) - DVD (Italian) it_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677356.iso SHA1: 9AF84E5A557C30F9D0C10BDC5FED339A7159F830 Thanks!
Tito, thanks for your kind reply. So...it's my understanding that using that 'media refresh' ISO plus that patch following the instructions, I will get a proper ISO as it was untouched, with the same original SHA1: 9AF84E5A557C30F9D0C10BDC5FED339A7159F830 ?
I read that is media refresh, Tito - but this does not address whether the final result with be an ISO with the same SHA1, which is instead my original post. Any clarification, please? The question arise because if the media refresh solution does not lead to the same SHA1, then I don't understand why you posted those links.
The Media Refresh has been done by MS itself (they needed to integrate a post-release fix into the Setup so they updated the whole media). That means it is an official, untouched release. Links to modified releases are not allowed at MDL.
