Not yet. After it is made and saved on a USB, what should I do? Execute the EXE? PS: Like I said before, Do all Dell Dimensions 9200 have the same MB and BIOS?
As far as your BIOS being the same as the rest of the 9200 yes. Some people never update there bios, but it's good to keep it current. Yes just save the backup bios on a usb stick. Then run the exe.
No, what i mean is when you flash your BIOS with the modded one it will be updated + you will have slic2.1.
Oh. k BTW, thanks a lot Reign. All helped me a lot here. But you where the one who was there from the begining to the end (whatever end is this.... *Vision of a computer smoking on a trash container*) ;_; Thanks
And you did and you're doing it great =D Thanks a lot. I really apreciate it ^^ BTW, my friend and I are going to flash both. All is the same, but there's a date that doesn't match. The BIOS video date doesn't match in our PC's (And a pair of numbers in the motherboard), but by the rest, it is the same. Does that suppose any problems? About flashing I mean. Will the modded BIOS we downloaded (From this very thread) work for both?
Thanks once again. Well. Gotta breakfast and then, time of truth. We'll first try it on my friend's. (he offered lol) And if it works, It should work on mine too.
Sure I did... And guess what! Didn't work. I'm at home again. My friend is figuring how to make the backup. He knows about the stuff a lot more than me. Once he makes the backup, he'll flash it and we'll see if it works. EDIT: He's using Reign's provided guide, but he's having some difficulties. Does anyone know how to make an easy BIOS backup of D 9200?
