What a mess. Some of it reminds me of the Longhorn disaster. Maybe Windows 10 needs some kind of development-reset (or management-reset), too. They seriously have to raise the quality level again and make it more reliable, and deliver feature upgrades less frequently. I never experienced Windows 7 to be this unstable and full of weird little bugs, at any point. On the other hand, they didn't release a major new version of it every six months…
Or people shouldn't chop/block telemetry as much as they do these days, maybe then some info can be gathered about the hardware?
Microsoft normally supports Win 10 Versions like 1803 for (I think) 30 Months, then to get KB Updates you need to install new Version. 1703 is oldest still getting support.
Install Windows Server and be forever on Windows Server, they can't force an upgrade. Or Windows Server 2016 ( 1607 ) which is even older.
Tech writers who wrote about the feedback hub bad situation don't have the guts to criticize people who disable telemetry because big companies are always the easiest target and no one dares to confront the public for fear of being labeled as paid by Microsoft who wants to spy on people and helping the Illuminati in their goal to control the world
also a lot of windows users running older HW and as windows now a service evolves older HW will struggle to keep up.
