I hope they (MS) not release new build. It's big mess. We get used to this build although the big bugs.

Great. Looks like the October Update will remain insider-only... Perfectly reproducible, btw.

    It's not a bug, it's a feature...
A feature that force you to install RS3 or RS4 again.

    Article is 100% FUD
1803 and later have simply changed how stuff works internally, those intensive full-registry backups are simply not done anymore via that component, but I can assure you Windows still keeps at least two backups of the registry - just in a more streamlined fashion.

    Good news everyone!

It seems that the Insider team is back to their primary focus of tweeting cat videos and funny pictures. Maybe this means that 1809 is well and truly fixed and on the way to us any time now.

I installed 1809 on oct 2nd and never had a problem except the dancing > on the task master , never lost files and I use WinRAR so I really don't know about the zip file problem , I do have an ssd for a system drive . so is the problems caused because of differences in hard ware and cpu combinations , I heard some people had sound problems screen problems some more then others and others didn't have any ?

Any idea where the registry files ARE backed up to now? Googling empty regback just brings up a few pages giving instructions to restore from there, and a handful of people who had noticed it's now empty, but got no answer as to what had happened.

It's just the registry guys. I'm sure nothing truly bad will happen.

The more important part is to keep positive while you're doing unpaid alpha-testing for a multi-billion company. Just don't be negative - it's all that matters.
