This is a total guess but Patch Tuesday goes live Tuesday at 10:00AM Redmond Time. Maybe 17763.XX shows up ?
You must confuse things here. No one gives a wet sh*t about your assumptions (disguised as 'not disclosed source info'). Conclusion: Stop making the Prosto here (or become banned like him).
Why 17763.XX ? Because so far we have seen 17763.1, 17763.17, 17763.55, 17763.104, & 17763.107. No one knows what the Final Number will be, so 17763.XX.
I use the 1511 version to upgrade Windows 7 to 10. From there you can of course update to the current version.
The 1503 version mentioned by @Rab doesn't exist . From Win 7 you can ALWAYS upgrade to latest Win 10 iteration (i.e. 1809). Only KMS activated Win 8.1 requires upgrade to 1511 to get Digital License .
clean 1809 is activated ok , but downgraded to clean 1803 also activated OK because mtkv for office 2016 not work al all in 1809 office branch c
Yes, I know, that CU was released after O18U was paused, so when they "un-pause" this feature update, it could be that the build they release.
This stopped happening the last 3 days. I'm not sure what fixed it (if it's truly fixed), the day that it showed last time in Reliability History was the day I installed the last Nvidia driver, but also MICROSOFT.WINDOWSCOMMUNICATIONSAPPS was updated. It would typically happen each reboot, and the last-3-4-5 whatever reboots it didn't.
so, after installing & activating the win7 by Daz loader, and generating the GenuineTicket.xml, I can install the latest 1809 to get a new digital license without any issue right. can you confirm whether validation of w7 prior to clean instal or generating the GenuineTicket.xml is required or not, and whether after the first clean install, I should go online using ms acc before pasting the GenuineTicket.xml or not
After that long time still so many questions . When using the ancient Win 7 to 10 upgrade trick there are two ways; the direct upgrade or the ticket generation on Win 7 and a fresh Win 10 install and the ticket apply/integration, not to be mixed/confused. Only mandatory thing is to install drivers for the main components (mostly the mainboard and especially network drivers) on Win 7 to assure the generated ticket is valid. The digital license per se isn't mandatorily bound to MSA, this is optional and a question of personal taste. The machine (as long as no hardware is changed) will always be recognized by MS Servers when using local account.
ok, thanks, so the driver installation is for the upgrade process only I resume as bcz in clean installation it wouldn't be a matter
NO! Driver installation is needed regardless the way. What is so hard to understand? The direct Upgrade apparently creates the ticket automatically and applies at a later stage. The manual way just mimicks that very process. TL;DR: No matter what, to assure generation of valid tickets, the driver install is mandatory for a fresh Win 7 install.
