    With 1803 we got 2 new refresh iso's in 2 months and one later, so we'll see what is coming :D

    You collect plenty ISO to your HDD/SSD and then after couple years you don't get updates anymore to your ISOs.

    It doesn't matter what you install, all can be KMS activated, all properly coded KMS solutions insert the gVLK before they setup the KMS emulation stuff.

    Because if they release a Cumualtive Update that turns out to be a complete disaster for Windows 10 1809, it would add more fuel to the fire of how buggy of a build it is. (Note, i have no problems with 1809.)

    So it's just safer to release it in the preview ring.

    are there any known compatibility issues with old hardware? where it turned well 1803, 1809 does not install?

    windows update does not offer 1809

    updating with the tool ... at 16% it makes a back to 1803

    in virtual machine, when it comes to the first customization configuration, it closes the virtual machine with memory error
