Microsoft ignores those bugs, because even they do not use Task Manager, they use Process Explorer. Common users have no idea, what it is and skilled users use Anvir, Process Hacker, etc.
That's not completely fair, they significantly improved Task Manager. I still use procexp because of little quirks like being able to mouse over it and see what process is consuming how much CPU and being able to properly start it minimized. As far as I know, there's no way to start TM in the systray without losing the ability to click it. Also procexp's last build is really old, maybe 1 year+. I hope Mark Russinovich will update it more often.

Former is american latter is british english on Techbech and VLSC. MyVisualStudio (formerly known as MSDN) uses en-us and en-gb.
