When people keep getting spoon fed, they will never learn the one simple dism commandline to integrate cab or msu files online or offline.
Does anyone have this weird "bug" that when you're playing music (Itunes, youtube on Chrome) maybe everything audio related; the audio driver crashes and the PC has a Mini-Freeze (I guess is the audio driver because every time it happens the audio playing slowdowns and it shows a notification like when you connect something to the audio jacks.... This minifreeze is very random maybe every two hours maybe less. First I thought that was my HW failing but I try to replicate this on 1803 and Ubuntu and it doesn't happened. PC Spec. Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming Plus Bios: (MS-7B61) V1.6 (2018-11-21) CPU: I5 8400 Audio Driver: Latest UAD 8581 (Also happens with no UAD Drivers) GPU: Intel UHD 630 GPU Driver: Latest UWD from Intel (25.20.100.6444) tried since the first RS5 Driver released (The ones that were blacklisted and the previous ones). Already did a Clean install. Windows Event Viewer and Reliability Monitor doesn't show any error about this crash.
Not here, and I have the exact same motherboard, with the same UAD driver version. Difference is I don't use the iGPU and have the 8700K, but I doubt this is what makes a difference. Also having just a stereo setup, 24 bit/192kHz, speakers connected on the Front output on the back. RTK audio control settings default with Loudness Equalization enabled, but when I listen to music I disable it, makes it sounds really bad. Unrelated to the above: - failure to activate Device Security>Core Isolation>Memory Isolation through the toggle remains in .168, even though MSI provided an updated BIOS for Z370 just a few days ago with new Intel ME and microcode, Safe Boot/VT-d activated etc. 1803, activation is flawless.
Looking around in UUPDL i see that this build is now in Retail ring (1803 has usually been in the retail ring for a while now), Code: [HEADER] CHECKING WINDOWS RETAIL RELEASE CHANNEL [ 13 ] Architecture: amd64 [ INFO ] NAME : Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 (17763.134) [ INFO ] BUILD: 17763.134 [ INFO ] UUPID: 0a9c3644-a27a-48f3-8cc0-630a6b341757 [ 14 ] Architecture: x86 [ INFO ] NAME : Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 (17763.134) [ INFO ] BUILD: 17763.134 [ INFO ] UUPID: 2b270fd4-8f8b-4d4f-ba85-17dace669c55 [ 15 ] Architecture: arm64 [ INFO ] NAME : Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 (17763.134) [ INFO ] BUILD: 17763.134 [ INFO ] UUPID: 3d883f0e-a504-4473-a975-0e47ed7087ce [ USER ] [N]ew Search or [B]ack ?:
Hi I`m not a insider & have always been able to update via scripts or links via this forum But with 168 this seems to not be the case I`ve tried with uupdl latest 20.08 but no joy Please advise where to obtain the updated cab file Thank You
It appears that 17763.168 was pulled within a few hours of release. None of the normal mechanisms can download it, like UUPdump or rg-adguard, and the direct link posted downloads the same 17763.167 with the same checksum.
Be patient. They are probably working out some hairy kinks before pushing out the MSU. So much bad publicity already, the Insider team needs to be extra careful.
No wonder the needed txt file isn't available, the downloaded one only contains the error report 'An error has occured.' .
