The version 17763.1 is nice, fast and stable ( test just ~10 hours on old hdd ), but with remove some packages is confuse is need more analyze.
It's the same as on 19H1, as far as i can see, on 18242 it also showed 2.1.18 but has the new options, or am i mistaken?
No dice, the "old way" of activating a PfW box to HWID seems to be blocked with this release... M$ took care of this "problem".
After few reboots it's back ^_^ But still, it looks like this build is not fully compatible with Binisoft Firewall. I can't make Windows or Microsoft Store check for updates, even when I disable firewall completely. Or, maybe, Windows does not count my dial-up connection as active internet source anymore There is no way I could know about it without being an insider. P.S. Dark explorer theme have strange color theme. It is just a bit darker than I really need. Was expecting something like dark theme in Discord.
Anyone having issues with their Laptop plugged in but stops charging (then Windows starts jumping between Dimmed Screen and Bright Screen and Power Scheme jumps between Plugged in and Battery). Had this issue start rearing it's ugly head after all those Spectre & Ghosts patches from Microsoft and RS4 build. But in RS5 it's become really bad... Also just had a family member buy brand new Dell Laptop 8th gen Intel and their having this problem too (RS4 and now RS5). Uninstalling Microsoft AC Adapter & Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method (Device Manager Batteries Section) seems to temporarily fix this for a couple hours, maybe a day if lucky... Already added Feedback to Hub and multiple Microsoft Support Channels. Just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this... Battery is also good, ran reports and checked via Lenovo Software.
I'm having this issue too: i'm trying this version in a vm and if i disable ipv6 and set the network to private, every uwp app internet stop working. If you enable ipv6, it works again. And if you keep ipv6 disabled but switch the network type to "public", it works again. Strange behaviour...
