Is there any reg tweak/trick possible to make the Windows Spotlite blur features from 19H1 enabled in 1809 i.e Oct 2018 version?

Maybe it has to do with the WU IP Ring settings problems, MSFT just solved?

On my system all runs well.

My windows 10 pro used to be so responsive with my 850 Pro ssd but I'm finding it very sluggish and slow. Is windows known to slow down over time???

Not for me, the 850 Pro SSD still quickly drags this old i7 3770 forward when it gets hammered :)

Are you using Samsung magician v5.3? A bit off topic. Apologies.

There's a few things that can cause that. I'd check the SSD is not getting too full. They can actually slow down quite a bit if they don't have enough free space. With SSDs more free space is better for endurance and also for speed.

Another thing is Windows exercises no sense of self preservation when it comes to loading up memory with background processes. You really have to keep on eye on that. It seems every other program one installs adds some kind of background process. It's quite annoying software makers think they can just invade your machine like that, like their program is the only one your machine runs.

There's also the registry bloat that Windows has always had a problem with. It's only worse now with the hulking beast the win10 registry has become. It's for that reason I've never run a single instance of Windows for more than a couple years. It's just bad engineering really, but standard fare for MS.

Nope, not installed it this time.

Can't remember me having upgraded the firmware either.
