PPPoE connection? Maybe you could just recreate the connection? I cannot believe M$ removed PPPoE in 1809? I'll try it myself later.
I had a problem with connecting to VPN but uninstalling all WAN Miniport entrys from Device Manager and then triggering "Scan for hardware changes" helped.
Hey I discover a new bug I downloaded winzip install it and now I cant delete the download of my desktop u click delete and nothing happens.
Well, this build will most likely be RTM, and yet affecting a custom default application to a specific file extension through file explorer is still broken. It looks like for the first time since Windows 10 was first released, I'm going to have to skip this build entirely. This bug is simply a deal breaker to me. And juging by the fact that this bug seems to generate little to no interest to anyone but me, I doubt it's going to be fixed anytime soon. I guess I'll just have to continue testing rs6 insider preview builds, maybe it's going to be addressed there someday.
It will likely "ship" (ie. go online for users to get) with a day 0 fix for whatever glaring issues. On my test machine at work I noticed the PDF we use for documentation, it won't open with Edge. /shrug.
If 17763.1 will ship, it'll be as it is, 17763.1 and a CU will be released, either for insiders first or for all at GA date.
Well I was able to do this at least with the .VCF files and tell Windows to always open them in Notepad. May I ask what file extension?
Solved the brightness problem when starting. Look for the following keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DisplayEnhancementService\State\AUO22EC0_01_07D9_C0 ScreenBrightnessPercent SliderBrightnessPercent They're set to 50. Set them to 100 and at least my Windows now always starts with full brightness.
