LTSC 2019 *does* run UWP apps! It comes with several preinstalled and you can install any other UWP app too. I am using it like this every day.
I didn't mean to imply the Universal Windows Platform is absent. It's a base part of the Windows 10 OS and in LTSC the UWP environment is there. It's possible to load all or some of the UWP apps back in but then what would be the point. Not worth the trouble. Better to just start with Workstation and remove what you don't want. Though LTSC does have some other things absent compared to Workstation.
While installing in desktop PC, all power plans i.e. Balanced, power Saver & High Performance, are present there in power option since the first boot, but while installing on a laptop/notebook via the same MSDN unmodified ISO, there is no power plan, anyone faced the same & know why?
I'm quite a newbie at these new methods. I read stuff about the SVF and how they work, etc. But I'm currently on Win 7 Enterprise VL and I want to upgrade to Win 10 LTSC, therefore I'm downloading the latest build I found in this very thread (as I commonly did with previous versions): "en-uk_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_723dfbc1.iso". Am I downloading the right one? Can I activate it using HardwareID KMS, or is there another method? Thanks in advance.
Thanks, but will this particular ISO work for me, since I want to upgrade from a older OS? Got it from https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1508535 I can do a clean install as well, just want to know if the "upgrade" is a valid option.
