Does the 1809 Enterprise version allow changing pre-installed components? In other words could I disable/delete Windows Security, Apps, Cortana in installation process not using MSMG toolkit. If my memory serves me well MS said that 1809 Enterprise would be more customizable regarding those irritations uh I mean "features".
All software is like this now. I find it endlessly annoying. Ever since Win8 we've been dealing with work in progress software from every direction, Microsoft included. They always seem to patch it, but it feels sloppy to release something that isn't up to par in the first place. Oh well, could be worse I suppose.
I agree... Just lookup Apples record over the last 3 years of update/upgrade releases, they've had more issues then Microsoft have had in the last 20 years of business, expect for 1803 which was absolutely the worst build in the history of Windows (even worse then Windows ME). I do find it an insult that they release builds with stuff that Windows Insiders never test, hence all the bugs we keep getting. They only have like 11 million insiders that actively test on a regular business... So i blame Microsoft internal team and corporate with all there re-shuffling they keep doing internal for 1803 being just buggy as hell, and along with Intel & AMD for their Spectre & Ghost bug (backdoors)...anybody else think that's got industrial espionage written all over it...even Qualcomm has this bug (backdoor) in all their chipsets...
Yea ms need to find the right formula to make it bug free cos in few years it might go to linux-like territory [ not to offend linux distro they working differently, make it much harder]
Hi! I've had some issues trying to convert the ESD to ISO with @abbodi1406 's decrypter. I had to replace every find with findstr in order to get the script working. I'm telling here just in case it could help anyone here with the same issue
That's 100% on you. You have probably installed git for windows or other ported linux tools that come with their own find.exe and that will override the windows one if you explicitly selected the option to do so. And, btw, comes with a fat red warning it will override windows tools like find and sort. So next time, select Use [X] from Bash / Add to Path.
@ jonaa Sad BUT 100% true , actually not just Microsoft delivers bugged software but many more companies...
Virtual memory (pagefile.sys) manual settings don't work anymore since the last few IP builds. Did anyone notice that?
i have say not thrilled about this build either is buggy as s**t...but MS hasnt sign off it maybe they are reconsidering .
