HOLY motherf*ckig s**t.. windows is so contrite still,.. spending ages to make headphones in the FRONT work.. lmao.. this is on LTSC.. I am fairly certain I managed to do it last time I tried this say a year ago.. Maybeit's a new update, crippling ltsc perhaps? Can someone confirm or deny the inability for LTSC , updated to use "Realtek HD Audio manager/centre" whatever app. I added store AND mediapack (on LTSC N version). facking ell. How sad it must be to be forced to use this OS in any context, voluntarily. Get the dx ported or just make politicans actually ban the OEM's who agree to illegal lobbying and boom, problem solved. nothing but quality for our hardware. Sspending a day or two to get headphoens working in 2020. LMAO, ye, AI isn't exactly gonna be invented/developed on windows alright ^^ Finally, after countless uninstalls, and re-installs and goat sacrificing, plus one of the kids to the devil.. it SHOWED up.. and even works. FINALLY. a WHOLE Sat wasted on making a front headphone jack work.

I guess I’m a little lost. I downloaded the ltsc image from here Windows 10 Version 1809 (17763.316) by @GezoeSloog, but it installs like every other version of Windows I’ve ever used....still has all the bloatware, edge, Cortana, etc. Did I do something wrong? I thought this image was ltsc that didn’t have any of the bloat?!?
Hello. I installed and activated Windows 10 LTSC last year, but I don't recall which activation tools to use. My version is : 1809 17763.1397 Thank you.
Why would you now need an activator for it? But use KMS_VL_ALL or see if windows_addict already updated his tool to get a hwid, google for massgravel.

I read thru some, but am still a bit confused on the process with the LTSB version. Is it advisable to download the latest build? . . . or the original 17763.1 build? Also, is this being downloaded and directly installed, or does it require some tinkering with, such as integrating components as are done using the MSMG toolkit? I have looked over the W10UI, and it seems the updates are being integrated with that. Is that a one-off integration of the updates, or is it used again for future updates? If the LTSB does require integration of components such as dot net, or other items, is the MSMG toolkit the way to do it? Sorry for my ignorance here -- I do read thru, but man, this stuff can be confusing! I appreciate all the high level expertise I see here. Thanks for your response(s).
You mean LTSC, LTSB is from 2016. By now it doesn't matter which one of the three officially released LTSC ISOs you install, only for (inplace) upgrading it's advised to NOT use 17763.1 (because of the user file deletion problem). And if you want N, for some weird reason, you can't use 17763.107 (because it doesn't have N onboard). All 3 ISOs installs will get the same updates offered. It is indeed confusing. The "latest" info is in a post in the middle of a large and long thread. When updates come, that is the post that gets updated. Very difficult to find. And very difficult to understand because it's full of jargon and implicit assumptions that readers are waist deep in understanding the arcane details. The one you want is some variation of this filename: "Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 [En] (release in March 2019)/en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_5795bb03.iso" The key part in the name is "5795bb03". Can be found via links here on MDL, and also there are torrents. Whatever version or variant you get, when you install it it will get the latest current updates from Microsoft automatically.
