First set them to Full (non EVAL), else they won't activate by KMS: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1466129
I got error 0x8024a223 when checking for an update after upgrading from 1803 via iso, is this usual or any guess what causing it? (beside i'm "dirty flashing" it....) Well if i'm forced to clean install it, then like usual, windows update always break things for me.
Seems that it depends on the graphics driver. On another Laptop with another driver the native value was '100'. Must have been something to do with powersaving. Furthermore it also seems that on a fresh install it wrote the value of '50', whilst upgrading from 1803 to 1809 on the same machine the value is correct at '100'. .
in my opinion it should not be...i dont like this build...but is classical MS keep rolling out garbage.
It's the same sad state for pretty much every piece of software these days, gone are the days when you could use something for months, years even.
Ms is waiting for all to install the build and then they'll pull a Dona Sarkar and drop a new build on everyone!! NOT!
The first bat will provide the full consumer ISO. The enterprise .bat will provide the business ISO with a pid.txt with the Enterprise key, all other sku's are available when the pid.txt is removed.
I think this build will come with very bad feedback and the build will be re-builded. Š•ntirely new build not only CU must be done. I hope, but seems to be not so realistic scenario.
If I install this build and MS releases another build, will I have to do a clean installation with the new build or will I be able to upgrade it?
same, 1803 is pretty stable on my laptop as of now and i dont wanna rush just to stumble upon random bugs. Though i dont even trust the official release to be stable too, because clearly microsoft's standard have lowered these days, just like android i.e. spamming the users with buggy os updates. Also the only feature I will actually care about in 1809 will be the dark windows explorer
1: open regedit (type regedit in windows search) 2: Look for a registry key in : Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\ microsoft.windows.authhost.a_8wekyb3d8bbwe 3: Delete the registry entries for microsoft.windows.authhost.a_8wekyb3d8bbwe by right clicking on that and select delete 4: open mail app and try to add gmail account .
