    99% yes

More or less. But you should reverse the question. Have you any specific reason to use 1809 over 21Hx ?

Doing a parallel test installation on native vhdx takes something like less than 10 minutes on a modern machine on ssd, which is way less time and effort than asking on a forum and waiting a reply by someone who will never be able to provide a 100% definitive answers.

Multiple boot is the way to go, ALWAYS, when you're going to move to a new system no matter if 1809 or Win11 or Win95

Ok. I can do this test.
Have limited info on vhdx, what is it? How to do Windows multi-boot?

Duckduck or google are your best friends on basic infos, whatever is a virtual HDD (the same you would use in virtual machines)

See above, whatever just deploy the image on a new vhdx and add it to the bootloader configuration using bootice or easybcd.

If you want the almost precooked meal you can use winntsetup.exe which includes everything you need to deploy and add to bootloader setup, and is (almost) dumb proof to use.

    Hi guys I'm new here
First, I would like to thank you for this beautiful forum that contains great treasures

First, I am an ordinary user and I am not experienced to deal with things
Please guys help me to set up some things

I want to install Windows 10 Enterprise Edition 2019 x64
I saw that I can download the raw version with build number 17763.1
There is a way to add full updates to it with 1809
But I don't know how I don't have enough experience. I apologize, friends
    I access this link:

    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...b-17763-xxx-pc-rs5.77945/page-51#post-1467631

How to create your own uptodate Enterprise 2019 LTSC:

1- Download the 17763.1 Original Release Enterprise 2019 LTSC ISO :
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-svf-repository.63324/page-128#post-1468363
    or
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-17763-xxx-pc-rs5.77945/page-323#post-1633605

2- Download the most current 1809 updates from :
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-17763-xxx-pc-rs5.77945/page-216#post-1490183

3- Download and use W10UI to offline integrate all updates and create the ISO.[/code]
    from :
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-105#post-1216064

I did not understand how to do it, there are no pictures or explanations for it
Can you help with one of the two things?

If there is a recent iso of LTSC 2019
Including the latest updates for this 1809 build

    I'll be grateful

    or

Is there a clearer way with a video clip of how to add updates to the ISO version
Because when I got to this page:

    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-17763-xxx-pc-rs5.77945/page-216#post-1490183

I found so many similar updates and I don't know what to choose
In order to properly update the iso of the system

    or

If there is a paid service to help personally on TeamViewer or AnyDesk
    This would be much better

Sorry if I didn't agree to mention some things, I'm not used to entering these advanced matters

If there is room to increase

I want to add which version is better
    2021 or 2019

I want to use it for games in particular and in general for the rest of the things
And I prefer LTSC over the rest of the versions, because the performance does not differ with the passage of time, and it is diluted and fast

    @Enthousiast
Thank you friends, I appreciate your help :)

    Tried vhdx, using winntsetup

Works 100% as similar with 2021 LTSC (all drivers install PASS aswell)

But, that is the problem that 1809 LTSC does not allow WSL2, only WSL
also it is similar to performance with 2021 LTSC

Should I do 1809 LTSC install or stick with 2021 LTSC only (now that they are similar,)?

It depends on what you need to do with Linux.

Frankly WSL is a way smarter idea than WSL2, there is nothing to configure on network side (same IP as windows), the space taken on HDD is exactly the space needed by the linux FS and so on.

On the other hand it doesn't allow to access physical HW (like a tvtuner or a bluetooth dongle), and requires a windows xserver to use GUI programs.

WSL2 is just a special WM, networking is way more stupid to configure than a real VM and can be a nightmare, the Linux FS resides on a VHDX, so some space is going to be wasted, you can compile custom kernels just like on a real linux, and in W11 and updated Win10 using GUI programs is straightforward (but requires wayland on Linux side).

The USB devices can be accessed via USB-IP (winch requires relatively complicated actions on both Linux and windows side) but unlike the solutions to do the same thing on Hyper-V it's free.

In short, my personal idea is that, if you need a quick an dirty way to usa a generic linux program, use WSL.

If you need a full fledged Linux. with full capabilities and no constraints a classic VM in VMware or Virtualbox is (usually) still a better and easier way.

Back to windows. Once you nailed the concept of multiple boot using native VHDX, way choose?

An OS is not a wife, you can have 10 different OS and boot the one you need in a definite scenario (just put the desktop/documents/and alike in a shared folder on the physical HDD (or in a commonly shared VHDX)

I've never had this happen before, but after doing a clean install with a wim containing the latest 1809 updates, KB5029247 is re-offered again although listed in Get Packages and Currently Installed Updates.
Is there anything else I can check to resolve this?

It might be because you used W10UI_10.25 and KB5029247 don't reinstall after Adding .NET Framework 3.5 feature.

Try with the latest version of W10UI (10.30) and see if this fixes it.

This is an old issue and should not happen with 10.25. My last wim-build for April also used 10.25. That log below shows both net-CU and LCU being reinstalled after the net 3.5 feature was added. The August wim-build above doesn't show the LCU being reinstalled and I don't know why.

The only difference I see is that the April Build was done with a 19041(LTSC) system and the August Build was done with a 14493(LTSB) system.

Yes, I've noticed that in your logs now.

Perhaps @abbodi1406 can help us with this.

Now that you mention it, I did not notice that some extra files had been placed there with the updates when I did the August integration. I think this happened when I tried to break out of W10UI previously after noticing a mistake I had made. What's needed to cleanup when canceling W10UI after it has started?

I redid the August integration and the LCU still doesn't get reinstalled.
