I don't have any fps improvement BUT you'll feel more 'safe' while using ltsb because you don't need to worry about any features updates.
He asked if people have made benchmarks showing if LTSB was better then other editions and I linked to a Youtube video that showed such benchmark, not once did I posted a link to home brew content. What the f is this, have MDL gone mad?
Nope, I guess it is because this is a thread about a build. And if someone asked for a benchmark you could have sent a PM to this guy with the video. The video compares LTSB to Pro, with the builds "Windows 10 v.1709 Build 16299.64" which has nothing to do with this thread here.
Well he asked for a comparison and got one, and it's not like there is a huge difference between 1607 and 1709 anyway, it's still Windows 10. And if there had been a LTSB of 1709 I would of course posted a video that compared 1709 vs 1709 LTSB. Geesh...
Yeah i don't understand the problem either. You did good. Ty for the video. As i noticed my self, not really any difference in gaming FPS wise between LTSB and the other Win 10 editions.. I have heard a lot of people having issues with stuttering, freezes on Windows 10 1703 - 1803, but that is nothing i've encountered.
Did a upgrade from 1803 to 1809 and went to try the Your Phone app for SMSing from my desktop and all though my phone shows up in the list of phones connected and I am signed into the Microsoft app on my android phone it the Your Phone App only asks me to Link my phone to it. Anyone able to get the Your Phone app working for SMSing from Desktop? I may try a clean install in a VM and see if that helps. I understand that m$ is likely going to release another build of 1809. ~MC
Same boat. Not only the "phone" app does not work. I can't activate my Office365. It shows an error that "there is a problem with my account" and won't activate. This is great. I removed the activation error, reset the connection, I've talked with 2 office tech supports and they've tried everything, nothing works, Office 365 just won't activate. Now I need to redo the 1803 image and reinstall all over again because OFFICE (a MICROSOFT PRODUCT) refuses to activate on this new build.
redo = delete 1809 from my pendrive, copy 1803 and install 1803 as 1809 seems to be having a really big problem activating office.
Initially was asking this question, Insider Preview showing in Windows Update after installing final build. See photo in below post. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ild-17763-1-pc-rs5.77945/page-32#post-1466097 Another poster has the same question: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ild-17763-1-pc-rs5.77945/page-36#post-1466590
There is no other IP build published, the Windows Update ESD files are available. When clean installed there is no reference to Insider Preview build.
