Ok, installed over v1803 keeping apps and settings using the 17763.1.180914-1434.rs5_release_clientconsumer_ret_x64fre_en-us.ESD converted to ISO. I guess that is why.
Windows 1803 to 1809 upgrade broke the Action Center Notifications on one laptop I own. Probably a disk drive issue, as chkdsk found some errors. To solve the issue I created a new user profile and deleted the old one completely.
Updates and windows store no longer able to download (even on a clean build 1803 which I had to reinstall). I guess Microsoft froze the entire updating line in light of the botched RTM release. Hoping for a cumulative update quickly before I can migrate over to 1809.
i agree and from what i see ..apple did awsome work in dark theme ui style..he covered even some apps ...he did alot much better,
MS services had some "outages" these days, but it does not look like "frozen", in my opinion they are just preparing things for upcoming release.
I upgraded from 1803 to 1809 using the ISO derived from the ESD on three computers - 2 desktops and a notebook. The Insider Preview update (about 3MB) was installed on all three after the upgrade Enthousiast said: ↑ There is no other IP build published, the Windows Update ESD files are available. When clean installed there is no reference to Insider Preview build. So it seems to be a persistent occurrence associated with upgrading from 1803 to 1809 using the ESD?
Do you have IPv6 enabled or disabled? IPv6 enabled (not configured) seems to be a condition to use the Store and Edge.
Also is download via update assistant resumable? Ie: lets say i use one network to download until it's bandwidth expires, then I connect other, after disconnecting expired one?
We will be sure when MS will announce it. Yes, we have live esd links, but links for 17133.1 are still live too...
