haha I do not have this type of problem (loss of files) see my sig, here in Brazil the countrymen have a proverb that says: old panela is that makes good food lol
hmm ... here in my country has a known MVP that spoke these same bulls**t (including your video looks like a copy of this dude) behind this way I ran from your forum and never came back is just another idiot talking s**t can believe
BTW @Tiger-1, a bit off topic, but why do you use the 2015 version of LTSB(C) Windows 10? Any particular reason? Just curious
haha I know that you are Brazilian for long time here and another places too go to topic: he wears the right beard??
I'm just a little confused, what's the update causing the user to lose data, I upgraded 2 computers, everything is fine, all applications are running well and all my data is still in my documents folder
Some people have lost all of their files in the documents folder (maybe even downloads/pictures and the rest?) while updating to this build. Clean install users seem to be safe (then again a clean install would wipe those folders anyway). Many people have not lost any files, and they believe that the people who haven't lost any files are in the clear (altough i guess not guaranteed).
The update is the October 2018 Update ver. 1809 Microsoft has not yet explained why this only affects some PC's and not others. They also have not said if they have found the root cause and if they have a fix yet. Twitter has been quiet from the Insider Team.
I had no problem with the upgrade but I have my OS on an SSD and everything else is stored on a seperate HDD. I want to change due to the constant upgrades and annoying feature changes, when ever I get everything just as I want it MS go and cock it up.
This is the one ? Spoiler Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB (x64) File Name: en_windows_10_enterprise_2015_ltsb_x64_dvd_6848446.iso SHA1: 264D48C902E6B586A1ED965062F7DA4D4DA99B35 Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB (x86) File Name: en_windows_10_enterprise_2015_ltsb_x86_dvd_6848454.iso SHA1: ABE400AD86C604197A3B163E31AFCC1B7C53325E I might also test 2015 version.
2015 was replaces within a year with 2016 LTSB, so keep that in mind, 2016 LTSB runs better then 2015 LTSB. But all LTSB/LTSC, and many more, iso's are available by this tool: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...3-ltsb-2016-2015-server-2016-techbench.77028/
Windows 10 setup folks have been on a roller-coaster shelving hours worth of "wasted setup time" starting with 1803. There is no magic - it's just less reliable backup. Add cloud-storage to the mix (not limited to onedrive) and an absolutely unforgivable aggressive disk cleanup / storage "sense" (more like lack of) entries that should simply not exist: "bound to happen.." Fact remains - no onedrive, no ms account, no sync, no other ms services - no data loss.
