So, they are treating people who already installed 17763 as insiders and testing the patches on their machines before releasing them for everyone
So they could fix the bugs also in this build. I waited to CU for fix task manager bugs and dark file explorer.
Well it's good to see which application is using up cpu regardless of visual bug or not, especially for servers with no "remote" access.
You could fallback to Process Explorer for the time being, couldn't you? Maybe they release an out-of-band CU in one or two weeks that addresses the remaining issues.
still no powershell history, psreadline module not updated (bug affecting those like me with non us keyboard)
I use WUI from abbodi1406 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-105#post-1216064
The update seems to fail stealthily at first glance, but ends up installing properly. "Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8024200D: 2018-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4464330)." Both on my PC and VM.
Well, I tried to do that via NTLite but it gives me an error can you check & confirm whether it works for you or not
The IPv6 enforcement might be done on purpose by Microsoft. I am not convinced that this is a bug. I spent time when I found this problem and configured everything on native IPv6 taking priority over IPv4 as it is default out of the box. It may be too early for this sort of configuration, but it works and works well, so there is no point in delaying it, other than lack of time and interest.
I mean when will build 17763.1 return via windows update with the fix applied to file deleted issue so it then returns to general release Or do they have other issue to fix first
