As published, the new 17763.55 CU contains the same fixes as the 17763.17 release (CU or Complete new Build).
Same of previous UUPs+KB4467228 and KB4467229? KBs are not the same of today updates? No info about those 2 KBs on M$'s site. What's, going on... Edit: KB4467229 is a dynamic update, maybe KB4467228 is just a delta update.
can confirm downloading 17763,17 via UUP>ISO Gave me File Name Is 17763.1.180914-1434.RS5_RELEASE_CLIENTMULTI_UUP_x64FRE_EN-GB.ISO
I need upgrade media with integrated fix because of redirected folders. if UUP doesn't do it I'd have to slipstream my own build 55 frankin-iso
Normally slipstreaming is stress-free. This time I'm afraid of screwing up because of the Servicing Stack update.
KB4465477 (Servicing stack update) KB4464330 (CU) KB4464330 is PSFX, I think it would be integrated into ISO. to 17763.55
i used NTLite integrated KB4465477 and KB4464330 + all my drivers fresh install running great only thing i notice not much to brag about it could be the app itself
I just tested this: 1. Install Windows Server 2016 (Original 1607 RTM ISO, no updates) 2. Put documents in folders: downloads, pictures, my documents 3. Upgrade to Windows Server 2019 (Original 1809 RTM ISO, no updates build 17763.1). 4. All documents were kept, nothing deleted, upgrade successful. After update, task manager still has blinking arrows / wrong cpu BUG.
According to MS failures mostly had to do with redirected folders. The question remains: if I make an ISO with integrated build 55 (DISM add-package), will it avoid this problem? I don't know enough about the issue to be sure
Who already clean installed or successfully upgraded 17763.1 got CU .55 officially via WU (Production Ring, No Insiders), so they're good. No need to fully upgrade to a newer build. 17763.1 is still RTM The new 17763.17 seems to only be a patched RTM for future upgrades via WU.
