Look at bottom of SETUPPP.INF - I think your image is dated early 1996 and you should find: SubVersionString = "a" Most likely Windows 95A OSR1 with Plus!
Thanks Sajjo. Code: [Strings] SubVersionString = "a" ; for final freeze replace w/ " r-#" where # is subversionnumber
Code: CRC Verification Utility, Version 3.05 Copyright (C) Microsoft, 1992-1997 100% complete CRC of media in K: (616775680 bytes) is 0xD56D9C4F
What I meant is since my image is in MODE1/2352, it won't work if your image is in MODE1/2048. Both images should be using the same mode. If you can convert yours to MODE1/2352, then you can do a remote scan using ImageDiff that will work with my image.
Yes, that's correct. I refered to image (iso) from WinWorld -> #145 where my source come from. I don't have the physical media (CD) of this release. You can't convert iso to bin/cue, mdf/mds etc and expect same binaries. Technically you can but how would I/we determine the extra unknown data that is added by these formats? If it was a image of a game, for example, with copy protection embedded, I would delete a iso image. No questions asked. No way I could replicate those extra data embedded to make it functional or even qualifie it as a 1:1 dump.

You can only check the file after uploading it, but there is nothing there. Are you asking for a riddle game here?
@vanelle I think there's some misunderstanding here. My image is good as I have dumped it with two different drives using DiscImageCreator and got identical files. If you have some time, please check Redump and TOSEC projects and you'll see how thousands of game images are dumped and preserved this way with consistent results across the world. While you are interested in the ISO file that someone at Microsoft made, I'm interested in preserving what was actually written to disc. Just as an example, I also have an original Windows 98 Upgrade disc that matches the following TOSEC dump: Code: <rom name="Microsoft Windows 98 Upgrade (1998-03)(Microsoft).bin" size="748688640" crc="1edcdad9" md5="53b671f34ad9658c9452fdbec294100d" sha1="df68bd2596f2b62f59e0e883b6cf86ee41ded619"/> I don't mind that it doesn't match any known ISO file because I know my dump is good and verified by other people that also have the exact same disc. Also, I ran CRC 3.05 on the DISC (not the image) and got 0xD56D9C4F. If you still doubt that's correct, then I can't help you. So I'll just leave my disc's hashes again here in case someone in the future searches for them: Microsoft Windows 95A OSR1 and Microsoft Plus! (OEM) Code: <rom name="ENG_CDPLUS.bin" size="709038624" crc="37518f60" md5="f8ccc309a1b3cdb485396be93bd0c1fa" sha1="339b272bb3bfbe73cb803e8eb8fb49c4b0306986" sha224="2b3257c7d5a3512fe7de4f2271f38b904695586e862fb07bd1188029" sha256="117bc8a63a2c7dfb659f0d63711194a63b378c30684a0856093e9f644934d6f9" sha384="8a1d72e4b550c94410411c5ecabe8dae211de15dd41f4f33c785f6afb8c769a8a8a64fb7c92e2472c739f4bdff2da56b" sha512="3a641befa153cd5fa36e904c54f37734a68d0f98920bad20a29e8f5bc5f5077d268e4a78d95ba4fce470ab009fe1bc40e05797c399561c7c1204f9757633a6a7" xxh3_64="9caf3a3e232168f2" xxh3_128="b4bcfdf6380a079a9caf3a3e232168f2" />
You mean doing something else like collecting others, and then asking the files I find. Then I'll try.
Yes, Microsoft has so many programs, and it’s not just about the system, and there’s no need to focus on Korea. Some people need other languages.
