Infrarecorder stinks, what other free burning software is good?

Nero 8 micro works for me and as for avoiding advertising, toolbars etc..... you could use ninite dot com to grab ImgBurn and avoid the spyware

 

Or you simply install ImgBurn with the /NOCANDY switch and/or disabled Internet access.
