Hello, I would like to know how to install (If it is possible.) Windows Vista on this computer. I have tried UEFI Seven patch but I was stuck at Windows is loading files. Processor is an Intel Comet Lake (10th generation) I5 103G1 Graphics card is an Intel UHD graphics.
I seriously doubt you can install Windows Vista in a 10th generation Intel computer. Even Windows 7 would be a problem.
install windows 10 iot ltsc 2021 and you can install vista gadget , and with openshell windows 7 menu
Totally Impossible, I better install Windows 8.1 (That runs perfectly.), then, In the near future, I can buy a computer that fully supports Windows Vista.
uh yeah, an older & used computer that actually supported Vista (something around the 2007-2012 era with 3rd gen Intel core or earlier)
FYI is plenty of Sandybridge/IVYbridge modern mobos on ALIexpress, they are cheap and often come with all modern goodies like NVME slots. They can run XP and Vista w/o any trick while the best I7 and Xeon e3 CPUs are way up the task of running even the most bloated Win11 builds
Which laptop do you have exactly? I have the N752VX and runs Seven just fine. It has a compatibility mode though. I just had to search for drivers all over the place. I haven't even tried with vista ofc since I have a dual graphics card which is not supported at all in Vista. You won't have this problem though since you have only intel graphics from what I understand.
I have Intel i7-6700HQ @2.6GHz. Is that a 10th Generation? The installation itself wasn't a difficult thing since my laptop has compatibility mode but finding drivers was a bit of hassle.. The nVidia bothered me the most. I had the fans going full speed randomly once a while with several versions of the driver. Having a laptop with 64GB of RAM and 1TB M2 while staying on Seven as main OS feels great though
