install XP on usb

    i have a old PC that i dont want to buy a hdd for yet and want to know if it is possible to install windows XP home to it??


    when i tried to it said that it could not install

    you probely answered this but can i use it instead of the hdd on the same computer and never take it out?

    instead of having a hdd have a usb stick plugged in

    you can pick up a low capacity drive off newegg dirt cheap. check it out.
