Installing W7 from an internall HDD . any faster than off a DVD ?

    OK here we go:

    Hi all,
    Haven't read the whole post but i pretty much already know what you all talked about
    Now for my solution you will need a DVD drive but only for booting into the setup.

    Instructions:
    1. Extract all the W7 DVD content into a folder

    2. Boot your PC with a VISTA/W7/SERVER DVD and press 'CTRL' key when you see the colorful boot logo until a command console come up. (at this point you can remove the DVD. you need the DVD if your portion is NTFS).

    3. Run 'setup.exe' from your W7 folder in your HDD.

    And that's it. Installing this way is the fastest way!
