remove the USB flash drive from your computer and the installation will continue where it stopped ;)

Yes, had the same "problem". Is there any way of stopping this from happening?

By the way, clean installation in 13 min "is" cool :)

    Question

    Hi,
I can't start the USB Flash from my BIOS,
BUT, I can see the installation from my existing Vista OS on the USB flash and I can start the installation from my existing Vista (from the USB flash).
Can I install Win7 from my USB flash on my existing Vista OS assuming that if restart is needed, then the computer cannot start from the USB ?

    Thanks !

I had the issue with the install looping back to the start.

All I did was when the system rebooted, I pulled the drive out, and the install finished.

Thanks for the info on post one, it worked just fine for me.

    Hi,

I have problems with booting from USB.

I have a brand new Asus UL30A notebook.
Win7 Home Premium 64bit pre-installed, but they also installed a lot of crap, causing slow notebook.
So I want to reinstall, downloaded Home Premium 64bit ISO.
Did exactly what it said in first post.

When I try to boot from USB, it says that it cant find any usuable devices. (removable drive is first in boot order).

Also tried the MS tool, also no success?

@Raoul - Do you have a "Boot Menu" as well on your Asus motherboard? On the Gigabyte motherboards I can change the setting the "Boot Order" in the BIOS to "USB First" but it does nothing but try to boot to the hard drive every time. I have to change it in the "Boot Menu" by pressing I think F12 on the Gigabyte. This may not even apply to the Asus models but I figured it was worth mentioning.
