Use MDL tool for Simplix integration, but the legacy version, then put that ISO in FlashBoot and don't select any extra drivers as they're already integrated
Does flash boot actually integrate drivers into the wim or does it use a xml file to do it (like some early OEM tools did when installing win 7 on usb 3 only ports)?
Any help really appreciated Hi, my pc only has this Secure Boot option {enabled) Enables secure boot, bios will prevent un-authorized OS be loaded. (disabled) disables secure boot. when secure boot set to enabled, CSM would be automatically disabled. ? So any ideas ,Ive tried both ways no luck ,i just keep getting checking media presence . then no OS found . even though I see it theu winPE command prompt Thanks Sorry I have tried so many things to get this done, on a new gen10 lenovo with no success i just keep getting checking media presence . then no OS found
If you have CSM, native VHD is the easiest option. (perhaps is the best option for practically any Windows installation) Use a MBR native VHD, deploy the installation there, add the vhd to your bootloader (use botice or easybcd for that) and you are done. P.S. given W7 doesn't support the more robust VHDX disks, is strongly suggested to use fixed size VHDs. Win 8 and later OSes can be safely installed on dynamically expanding VHDX Win Vista and earlier can be installed on fixed size, not fragmented VHD, using the SVbus driver and grub4dos bootloader. Use WCONTIG to defrag a single file.
okay I don't know anything about VHD, will do some homework, So its a virtual disk not on actual hdd ? thanks
Same virtual disks used by hyper-v / virtualbox. One big file that acts like a real hdd. They exist since the late 90s but since W7 they are bootable natively, not just on virtual machines.
Well so much for that, bought this software, installed fine but my RX480 doesn't seem to work correctly
